The 2023 Annual Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI 2023) will take place June 24-27 in Chicago. The Congress offered more than 130 continuing education and scientific discussion sessions, covering the latest research results in the application of nuclear medicine to cardiology, neurology, oncology and other fields. It provides world-class scientific discussions, education and exhibitions, as well as social opportunities for participants, attracting more than 8,000 doctors, scientists, technicians and other academics to participate in the academic feast.
 

Plenty of cutting-edge technologies, latest advances and cutting-edge achievements in the field of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging were presented at the conference. A set of images of the new pairing drug 68Ga-DOTA-5G / 177Lu-DOTA-ABM-5G, disclosed by Dr. Sutcliffe's research group, has been selected as SNMMI's Henry N. Wagner, Jr., Image of the Year for 2023. This pairing drugs has been proven to be successful in diagnosing metastatic pancreatic cancer and visualizing targeted therapy for patients with the disease. On the other hand, personalized administration of Actinium's therapeutic nuclear agent Iomab-B(131I-apamistamab) has been shown to enable patients with relapsed/refractory acute myeloid leukemia (R/R AML) to successfully receive curative bone marrow transplants. The paper/abstract describing the results of this research has been selected as the annual abstract for the 2023 SNMMI meeting.
